About: I'm a responsible, communicative, and kind graduate student with over a decade of experience caring for dogs. I've worked with rescue pups and dogs of all ages—from 8-week-old puppies to 13-year-old seniors. I treat every dog like my own, with patience, love, and lots of attention to their unique needs. My current schedule is very flexible, and I will be in town for most of the summer so I can hang out with your pup whenever! Once the fall starts, I’ll be in classes again but will have flexibility throughout the day and particularly on the weekends. Your dog’s safety and comfort is my utmost concern! I completely understand that your dog is like your child, so you want to make sure that they are safe and in the best care possible. Because of that, I will defer to your rules about where your dog can go, when they can be off leash, etc. You know them best, and I trust you!

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals my whole life. I raised my own dog from puppy to 15 year old senior citizen and have been taking care of my friend’s and family’s dogs and cats for years. Whether your pup needs a brisk walk or a trail run, or your cat needs company while you’re away, I bring the same care and attentiveness to pet care that I bring to the hospital. I understand how important your pets are to your family, and I’m here to treat them like my own. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following special diets, and maintaining a calm presence with shy or anxious pets. I currently have a flexible academic schedule and I work hard to fit in pet care throughout the day. I am almost always available first thing in the morning and in the afternoons/evenings and my mid-day availability varies by academic term From walks to house-sits, I follow the simple tenants of 1)“treat every animal as if they were my own” and 2) “treat everyone’s homes with the utmost respect”. About: I am a current medical student in the area who has had dogs around her for her entire life. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs of all breeds. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Looking to get my own, but in the meantime, would be excited to watch yours. I have plenty of toys and treats and I’m happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable to keep your furry friend happy! About: I raised/trained a puppy several years ago, and I've been pet sitting since I was 14. I am also a very active person, and I love running, walking, and playing outside with dogs. I have work shifts no more than a few hours on select days. If your dog cannot be alone for a few hours, I can almost certainly find a friend or family member to watch them while I am out. About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

Our one cat takes a pill daily, and while he takes it just fine for his mom, he wasn't taking it for the sitters. Valerie came up with safe, creative ways to get him to take his pill. She also left wonderfully detailed check-in notes and was very communicative. We'd highly recommend her if you want peace of mind that someone experienced and compassionate is taking care of your fur children!”
