About: Since I was a kid I have been surrounded by animals: cats, dogs, parrots, turtles, hamsters… I have lots of experience with many animals and find joy in caring for them. I moved to DC recently and I truly miss having pets. I’m hoping Rover will help me to spend some time with little cuties. Moreover, I work remotely and I love to be outside, my schedule is flexible. I enjoy taking care of animals and making owners reassured that their pets are A-OK. I have taken a buyout offer (deferred resignation) from my federal agency, so I am not currently working and have a very flexible schedule that allows for pet-sitting. I live in a dog-friendly condominium community. My condo unit is up a single flight of stairs from the building entrance making it easy to hop out for walks around my community. There is a very popular dog park along a stream (Four Mile Run) within about a 10-minute walk. There is also a woodsy park with a walking/biking trail across the street. Within my condo unit, I have space for a crate if needed. My condo unit also has a balcony overlooking a tranquil courtyard area with birds and squirrels to look at.
