About: I provide patience and presence. In other words I strive to create a space for my animals to be just animals, while bearing in mind the realities of modern life. If possible, I’d like to extend that space to your animal(s) as well. I also provide pet delivery services through CitizenShipper. I have a flexible schedule which leaves a nice amount of time each day that can be dedicated to caring for my animals. My dogs get at least one walk per day that is at least hour long, usually more. There’s also separate times for using the bathroom, playing or sunbathing. About once a week we go to a large local & not very frequented forest preserve. There they can explore and run with several potential pockets of off-leash time. Each animal staying in my home will join our “pack.” After receiving the basics of food & water, bathroom outings and exercise they will be able to develop their bond with myself and my two dogs. In other words they’ll be cared for physically, socially, and emotionally. When looking after an animal in a client’s home I will approach the interaction with the same mindset described above. But my two dogs will not be present and I will operate within the household rules set by the client.

“Paul was amazing! It was our longest trip away form our dogs and I was very anxious leaving them with someone new. I was actually able to enjoy our trip knowing Paul was with our pups. He did a fantastic job sending pictures frequently and giving us updates! He set aside time to do a meet and greet with us a couple weeks before our trip and our dogs loved him! We also had a last minute dog add on (we decided to foster a dog right a week before we left) and Paul was incredibly accommodating and kept the foster dog on his medication regimen.
