I'm currently working part-time and often have time throughout the day to watch or check up on your pet. Unfortunately at this time I do not offer in house boarding as i rent where i live at. About: As a young kid, my family bred Saint Bernards. By all means, I am from a "dog family." I grew up walking, feeding, cleaning stalls, etc. dogs much larger than me. Eventually and gradually we would adopt several mixed-breed dogs and other strays who we loved just as much as our Saints. On top of this, however, I was also proud to be responsible for a beautiful, sassy cat, from a younger kitty to her golden years. Moreover, some friends and I spent time trapping feral cats in West Central Spokane, specifically around where we lived and worked, then taking them to PetSavers for spay/neutering, and working to rehome them. I enjoy "working" with all kinds of dogs and cats. This includes seniors, those with health conditions, or those who simply benefit from extra patience and extra attention. You may already see me walking dogs in Cheney and Airway Heights. I would be glad to get to know your pet family and learn what everyone likes best and wants most. I currently work as a "hand" maintaining a lower-maintenance property in the greater Spokane County. This arrangement is semi-formal and provides ample flexibility in my schedule to meet the needs of your pet family. Each home and family is different, and expresses their love for the pet family in different ways. I am glad to meet your pet family where you are all at, and give us an opportunity to get to know each other. I talk low and slow by default, but can easily match the energy of your pet family. Dogs will enjoy their walks and time together and return a happy camper :-) Cats will have a dedicated eye on them and if your cat is a playful or affectionate type, their need to socialize will be met. I can usually coax most shy cats into some socializing or play time, and cats who are "protective" of one thing or another, and maybe not as friendly, still will also get ample care and attention.

“Alexandra has proved herself to be a great cat-sitter. She followed our cat care instructions very well. She spent time with them in the evening/night when they get the most lonely(they sleep most of the day), gave them wet food on schedule, checked their water fountains, dry food dispensers and litter robot to make sure they were in order, and cleaned up after Boo when he puked. When we came home, the cats seemed emotionally very well and cared for. I could tell she had spent the right amount of time with them and given them enough attention, because they were not upset, stressed or angry at me for leaving them as they would be if they had not been attended to sufficiently. Alexandra was also very kind to our apartment while she was over, leaving it very clean. Best of all, she was easy to communicate with while we were away. I definitely recommend her as a pet sitter!”

“We set up a meet and greet with Karissa and our pupps. Karissa has amazing energy! My pups loved her and they even fell asleep near her while we chatted. Looking forward to our future visits.”
