About: I have two cats of my own and have helped care for both family dogs and friends’ cats over the years. I’m experienced with feeding, walking, litter box cleaning, and giving lots of love and attention! Pets tend to warm up to me quickly, and I always make sure they feel safe and cared for. I also have plenty of photos of the pets I’ve cared for to show the happy moments we’ve shared. I’m a college student currently studying biochemistry with a strong love for both cats and dogs. Pet care brings me joy, and with summer here, I’m only in school part-time. This gives me the flexibility to care for your pets Thursday through Sunday. I’m dedicated, dependable, and excited to give your pets the attention and affection they deserve. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet I care for. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely and respect your space. I’m attentive to details like feeding schedules, medication, and preferred activities. While I don’t have dogs of my own, I have two friendly cats and a clean, pet-safe space. Whether in your home or mine, your pet will be treated like family.

“Quetzaly is a gem! From the very first meet-and-greet it was clear she loves cats and would treat my 6mo kitten Moss like her own. She was skilled in handling all the troublemaking that Moss could throw at her and communicated everything to me; e.g. when Moss pulled a painting off the wall and into her water dish, Quetzaly rescued the painting for me and on short notice refreshed the water dish just so there wouldn't be any traces of paint in the water, which I really appreciated. I also loved all the photos and the little notes she left during the visit (and my family enjoyed the updates too!). She even left a note for me afterwards letting me know about some local events going on since I'd mentioned I'm new to the area. All in all a great catsitting experience :)”

“She was great at showing up on time and gave my dog a lot of playtime and attention throughout the day. My animals seemed happy and well cared for, and I appreciated the updates she provided. Overall, a helpful sitter!”

About: Ive taken care of dogs since I was a young boy. I love dogs of all species and love to play and learn about dogs when I can. I currently have a blue heeler so high energy dogs are no problem. I would love to use my free time to do something productive and help people make sure their animals are cared for and give them the extra attention that I can. I live in an apartment, but I love taking my dog to the park to play to let out his energy. We also love to play in the house aswell.

“I highly recommend Valerie to take care of your dogs or cats! We had to find a new caregiver for our dogs as our last Rover sitter moved on to new things. I was nervous about finding someone new, but Valerie very quickly responded to my inquiry and scheduled the meet and greet with our dogs. We have a special needs dachshund and Valerie was able to take care of her specialized needs with skill and efficiency. Our dogs took to her immediately and appeared very comfortable with her. On the visits, while we were out of town, Valerie provided us with pictures of our dogs and was prompt to arriving and checking in at the times we had agreed upon. I will definitely be rebooking Valerie in the future and hope she will be doing this for a long time to come!”
