About: My family got our first dog when I was 9 years old. Since then, I don't think I've ever not had pets in my life. I've had dogs, cats, and bearded dragons. I come from a long line of animal lovers, and I consider my pets to be part of the family - so they live good and happy lives. I've also had family and friends rely on me many times to take care of their pets while they were out of town. I'm a teacher, so come the summer (when everyone goes on vacation), my days are wide open! During the school year, weekends are the best bet for house-sitting, but I've got more flexibility for dog walking etc. First step is building trust. I want your pet(s) to feel comfortable around me, and part of that is gauging how they behave around me. If they want love and attention, I'm more than happy to give it! If they need more time and distance, that's okay too. I'm someone who wants to make sure that you AND your pet are happy, so whatever you need me to do is what I'll do. Lots of play? Can do! Frequent walks or bathroom breaks? Not a problem! Just hang out so they're not alone? Absolutely. And I want you to feel confident that your pets are in good hands, so I'm always happy to send check-in pictures if desired.

“Natalie was awesome! She stayed in our house for five days to watch our cat and Genan Shepherd/Lab mix while we out of town and took excellent care of both animals and our home. She came to meet them first and then called again to make sure she had all the feeding, walking and house instructions straight which I really appreciated it. She spent a lot of time with them and took our dog for the many long walks he needs. She followed my instructions to a tee and left our house in great shape. Would absolutely hire Natalie again!!”
