answered a question | Can I accept jobs outside of Rover that began on the platform? I'd also like to add that Rover can support you when things get awkward. I also had a moment when I thought, well, maybe I should do this under the table. But an incident with a pushy client wanting me to keep her dog longer when I couldn't made my decision because Rover support stepped in to help handle the situation. |

asked a question | $20 off Coupon? Recently I received an email that I can share a coupon code for clients to take $20 off a stay. However, is this for clients who are new coming to me, or clients new to Rover.com? Thank you |
answered a question | Inexpensive, hands-off puppy boredom cures? Hiding games!! Hide and seek! Distract puppy, hide, and try not to laugh. This game is probably perfect for her German Shepard side. Another cheap game would be hide the treat. Start off with 2 cups and hide a little food or toy and switch them around, then see if puppy can find it. You can later do 3 cups or as many as you want. My family also does the sit, stay, hide a treat/toy too like Amber |

commented answer | what if owner wants extended stay but I don't? Thanks, I decided to contact http://rover.com. I'm having surgery(which I told her), and her replies just seemed shady... "oh flights delayed... delayed again! I'm going to be so tired!" Ya, if I could I would, but I can't. |

asked a question | what if owner wants extended stay but I don't? What can I do if an owner doesn't want to take her dog right away? This is a first, mind you. All owners before then have even wanted to take their dogs earlier! This is the first owner I've met who told me she'll be home but wants me to keep the dog longer. Well, you do you, but I won't be available. Is there an option for owners who don't want to take their dogs? Can I transfer the dog to another sitter? |
asked a question | is carpet shampooer tax deductable? So many a dog has peed, pooed, and vomited on my rug and carpet. I've never felt the need to get a carpet shampooer till now, but is it tax deductable if Rover isn't my full-time job? |
