How do I search for a sitter by name?

A friend recently signed up to be a sitter on Rover. I'd like to book her to watch my dog, but she isn't in the top few pages of the search results for my location. Rather than comb through the 20+ pages of dog sitters to find her, can't I just search for her by name?

it is impossible

Well that stinks .... that should be possible !

Not being able to search sitters by name is a huge deficit in this website. We have our favorite sitter, and every time I want to book her, it's an ordeal to find her. The reason I found this page is because I was googling "How to search a sitter by name on http://Rover.com" because I'm trying once again to find our sitter. This is incredibly frustrating! http://Rover.com really needs to add this capability.

I have been looking forever for a certain sitter we have used before. Very frustrating.

I couldn't agree more!!!

I met sitter and she told me her name but I can’t find her because you can’t search by name. Hate it

You can always find them in your Inbox.

Have her send you a link to her listing page. She could also send a link with a code that will give you $20 off your first stay. Tell her that creating the custom code is done on her Dashboard. There is no way to search by name.

How can you have a sitter send you a link to her page if you can't locate her?

She wrote that the person is a friend. I assume she has a way to communicate (email, text, FB) with her friend.

You can also save a sitter as a favorite by clicking the little heart on their page (once you find her again of course).

Exactly, Jean, you need to find a sitter first, then save her in favorite.... NOT being able search by name is ridiculous... I didn't expect Rover to be this poorly designed.

I recently found a work around if you have some basic information...this doesn't always work but has when I needed it.

Go to Google! Search the Sitter's first name, last initial, city, and Rover. Their profile should be one of the first few search results that pops on Google.

For example, go to Google and search "Jane D. Boston, Rover"

That didn’t work.
