Has anyone used an outdoor potty patch?

My puppy loves his potty patch on our balcony and only goes to the bathroom on the potty patch. Has anyone used one? How did the transition from the potty patch to going to the bathroom outside go?

Yes put the patch wherever you want them to start peeing. There is also spray you can purchase at most pet stores that encourages peeing in certain areas. I covered my backyard with it my pups never had an accident in the house again.

I personally have tried and failed with an outdoor potty patch. However I would recommend bringing the patch outside and putting it down in the grass. The main reason why your pup might not go outside is because their personal scent is on the patch which makes them comfortable. I would cut the patch little by little and eventually your pup will make only on the grass outside! Hope that helps!

Yes, I use DoggieLawn regularly. It took a couple days for my puppy to transition and start pottying on the grass, but after the initial week, he uses it regularly. It's such a convenient option when it's raining outside or for a quick pee break. I put mine outside on the balcony and trained my pup to ring the bell whenever he wants to go :)
