Any Dog Walking/Visiting Requests?

Have you guys been getting a bunch of dog sitting and visiting requests since Rover introduced these options or has it been slow?

I recently decided to go 'away' from Dog Boarding as my dog Charlotte doesn't seem to like it anymore. I would love to get more walking and visits requests but I've only gotten one. Am I alone here or has it been slow for everyone else? I imagine that lots of potential clients simply don't realize that they can come to Rover purely for dog walking yet.

Also, I don't want to go 'away' from dog walking but for curiosity's sake: Can we only set 'away' statuses for boarding and house sitting right now?

I also haven't received any walking requests from Rover. I received a couple visit requests. The more recent one hadn't read my profile and clearly wasn't a match. Currently, Rover has me placed on a Wait List for those services, so it's unlikely I'll get more inquiries.

I have gotten a handful of requests in the new categories - a couple for daycare, a couple for walks, one for drop ins. I just got a new walk request today, but they're way outside my walking range. I miss the ability to add ranges for travel services. It's not worth it for me to drive 15 miles round trip for a 30 minute walk.

Hey! There is a way to set the mileage preference for your travel services. Under your services, there is a section of preferences. (what size dog you'd Peter to sit etc) In that section you should see the question...What is the maximum distance you'll travel to get to a client's home? Enter there.

Thanks! I must have set it when I adjusted my profile for the new services, but I didn't remember the option being there at all.

I haven't gotten any walking/visiting requests since the new services have been introduced, either. I think it's probably because people don't realize they are available. I have gotten a few visiting requests from my DogVacay account recently.
