What has Rover helped you do?!

" data-refresh-url="/community/question/800" data-editor-type="markdown" data-validator="askbot.validators.questionDetailsValidator" >

Hi Rover friends! I am a very active sitter on Rover and have gotten to go to some amazing places thanks to my earnings. I want to know - what have you been able to do with your money? Any trips? Experiences? I would love to hear what Rover has helped other people do.

Here is a photo from Potsdam, Germany last spring.

This is awesome!

Right now I have been putting the money back into the business. I bought dog toys and I will buy more items to give my clients when they leave. I am also using it to save to go to Germany also! My grandparents are there and I want my children to meet them. I love Rover!

Our stays for the last couple months are nearly paying next month's rent, allowing me to save more, so that's cool. Not terribly exciting, but cool either way.

That's awesome!

Laura, this has nothing to do with this thread but I don't know another way to contact you.... How did you get the American flag next to your name? Thanks for any advice! You can email me at cceresa@wideopenwest.com.

Hi Carmen - I just added the country I'm located in to my user profile.

I won a trip for two to Hawaii! You can find it on the Rover.com blog under "Rover News."

Other than that, we are saving our Rover.com funds to take the whole family on an amazing adventure. Since the whole family works together, the whole family benefits!

I will forever be a Rover.com sitter because they have been so good to us!

I am a "wanting a dog" but not really soul. So I foster dogs, I watch dogs...and it's all temporary. I get to see them go to their forever homes (in the case of foster dogs), and I get to spoil the dogs I watch horribly! The owners don't seem to mind, and yes, the extra cash goes in the vacation fund.

Hi Amber- That is Awesome! We use the money to pay bills and we adopted our dog in Jan. 2015. We do take one or two trips a year -visit family in the Midwest- or rent a cabin someplace we've never been before. But we don't go to far because there is still so much to see and do in Az. Great Travels!

I have got my first stay now. 3 dogs and it's going great. I'm not to good with computers,so I've had to call rover a few times already. They were always so nice and patient with me Really meant a lot. I'm putting the money I make back to it. THANKS ROVER!

Hi Amber! Just wanted to say that I've visited Germany as well and absolutely loved it (I spent a lot of time in Berlin and it was amazing) :) I've been putting my Rover earnings toward paying for a dog grooming program, but they've also helped fund an emergency vet visit for my new kitten. Other than that Rover has given me a chance to socialize my own dogs more- they absolutely love having playmates in the house! I'm also grateful for the experience I've gotten through Rover, being able to work with a variety of dogs in different environments.

We've been using the money for a couple dinners out here and there, pay for dog (and cleaning) supplies, and are working on paying off my student loan.

I also keep money in my account for when we need a sitter.
