Can you search for smoke free homes?

I recently just finished a 6 day booking with Rover. My dog came back smelling like smoke. Had I known I was dealing with a smoker (of what? I'm not sure) I would have chosen another babysitter. We wouldn't leave a human child in a smokers house, why would we subject our cherished pet to it?.... Please add a 'Smoke Free House' icon to each babysitter, so we as customers don't have to ask each sitter this question.

I'm sorry this happened to you - I definitely wouldn't place my dogs in a home with indoor smokers. I suppose this is yet another good argument for a meet and greet. (I'm at least assuming you didn't see where your dog would be staying since the smoke would be apparent from even a brief tour.) I'm all for adding "smoke-free" as a condition to our profile, but I'd still encourage everyone to insist on a meet and greet that includes seeing firsthand where your dog will be housed.

A smoke-free icon does exist. You can see it in the Summary section at the beginning of each sitter's Information tab. Not too long, Rover asked sitters to answer eight profile questions ranging from type of residence, smoking status,if animals are allowed on furniture and/or beds, length of time between potty breaks, etc. A pictoral summary of the answers shown at the beginning of each sitter's information tab. However, I do agree that there should be an easy way of searching for that type of sitter.
