New daycare service offering?

Just an FYI that I thought deserved its own question, instead of being tacked under an existing one. Rover's default setting is to assign you with a daycare service offering. I found this out when I went into my dashboard. You have to "uncheck" the service if you don't want it. Nowhere did it say that would be that case, only that you could offer it. This is exactly the same situation in which I found out Rover was posting my listing/pictures on Craigslist without my permission because it had included that option after I had enrolled here and you had to "uncheck" the box. I don't offer daycare, so need to make sure the expanded services menu reflects what you actually provide.

Interesting. I did not know they automatically post your profile on Craigslist. I'll have to check that out. Hey I emailed you a while ago, not sure if you received it :)

This was quite awhile ago. I signed up for Rover when it first came to Chicago. Later, while looking at CL, I found myself! I called them up and asked how it was possible and they explained that they'd added this option but it hadn't been there when I signed up. No, I didn't get your email or at least didn't see it.

Thanks Karen. I had checked out those settings once before, but decided to check it out now since all these changes are happening. Under Account Profile, I found another interesting option to consider: "I'd prefer not to have my rates adjusted by Rover..."

Yes, I looked for that one after I'd read about it here. :-(

I had a potential client ask me what I would charge to exercise her two large dogs 5 days a week/ 6 hours a day. I have no idea what to charge. This would be at her house on the client's acres.
