Why is customer service so poor?

I was trying to book a sitter however this site will not allow me to use my only phone number (says its linked to another account- which has been deactivated). I've sent numerous emails but have gotten ignored. This should be a simple fix.....but instead Rover has chosen to lose business.....good luck with that plan!

Try calling Rover Customer Service at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team]. They don't come here.
