How is your puppy now? Is she still biting at the air? Was she through puberty before being spayed?

I am happy to hear you got your puppy spayed! I don't think your puppy trying to catch flies would have any correlation to her being spayed two days ago. (Unless she is on pain medications and they are too strong? In which case you would want to contact your Veterinarian.)

After a spay surgery the dogs can be a little groggy from the anesthesia but normally by day 2 your puppy should be doing well. They may move slowly after surgery and you still want to reduce their activity for the next 10-14 days. If you think your puppy is not back to normal by day 3, you should contact your Veterinarian for recheck.

Puppies are so resilient and normally bounce right back fairly quickly after a spay surgery. (Half the time the puppies don't even realize they had surgery. Lol)

Best of Luck!

It sounds neurological. I am fostering dogs both of which I am taking to a neurologist so I can learn more. Anesthesia can cause unwanted effects as well as vaccines. What other medical treatments were administered?
