I'm considering using Rover (as a customer). This policy is a real turn-off. If someone is making comments about me, I want to see them.

I completely agree with you.
Regarding past sitter comments, those are only viewable by rover support. Once a sitter submits comments, they can’t even review them later. Regarding customer profile, for anything beyond what you can view, you’d need to contact customer support.

Sitters are gathering priceless information about each dog. These notes include hidden agresive behavioral problems, food aggreson, protective agreson to toys, people, or other abjects. These notes are critical to the sitters and other dogs safety . Rover hides this? Why? Is Rover coprit. Stupid
I agree, David B, that as a sitter I should be able to view my own comments about the dogs I've cared for and what other sitters have said about the same dogs. I've learned to consider Rover as ONLY the way to book stays and get payments, everything else is up to me.
