What is the purpose of the Pet Rating for sitters?

I am curious about the "pet rating" feature for sitters. After a booking, you are requested to rate the pet and provide details, but it says the owner or other sitters wont see it. How is this information used? What is the purpose? If I walk a badly behaved dog or have bad experience with the owners - how can I warn others, the same way owners can write reviews about me?

That internal-to-Rover rating has no purpose or useful purpose as I can see. Therefore, I never bother with it. There is no way on Rover's site to provide information about pets/owners so that other sitters can see it and benefit from it.

Even though it does not get shared with other sitters, I usually use it to document anything that I think could potentially benefit rover in the future. For example, if I’m unavailable or the pet needs to be watched by another sitter, details that I provide could help rover support’s awareness of specific pet details to find a good match (if they were involved in a search) or in the event of issues, be aware of pet history.
