How do the walkers get access to my house to get the dog for a walk?

You must provide a key or electronic code to access your home, some use a lockbox. Discuss with your walker at the meet and greet

The people that have booked with me always tell me where they have hidden a key or garage opening: under doormat, in bushes, under chair cushions; some have even opted to leave it with a friend/neighbor until I arrive. If it’s convenient for you I’d suggest asking the sitter if they have time to meet you before departure to grab it. But ideally a secure lock box is best so that there cannot be any issues arising from a key not being where it was anticipated. If my clients are gone more than one day I find everyone feels most comfortable with it staying in my possession instead of leaving it overnight under a mat or whatnot.
