I have a 2 1/2 year old german sheperd mix that we adopted two months ago. For the last couple of weeks she is pooping and peeing in the house even though she is house trained. Advice?

A lot of times it’s a comfort thing. Where they mark the house to make their own scent more present. Other times, it’s a behavioral thing. Just like children, dogs will test boundaries and rules. What my husband and I had to end up doing was go to the backyard with our pup and walk back and forth in the yard. The pup would follow us and eventually do his business. We had to make sure he did his business before we let him back inside. It took about a week to two weeks doing this before the problem stopped. Also, a set routine/schedule helps so much! Wake up and go outside, feedings, outside after eating, outside after drinking, potty before bed, etc all around the same times every day. Good luck, I hope this helps!

Technically, she's still a baby and needs to learn her basics. Should be fed same time every day, puppies eat more than once a day. taking out the same time everyday, usually about 20mins after they have eaten. Plus it is important that you praise her and tell her what a good job she's doing with a treat.
