What exactly is a drop in visit?

What exactly is a drop in visit? Is it just a visit with your pup or could it be that the person stops in, makes sure dog has water, and then takes the to the front yard for a potty break?

I don't necessarily need my dogs walked for 30 min - just need them taken to the front yard to do their business and water to be down,.
