New puppy fighting with 2 year old dog, should I be concerned?
have a 2 year old German Shepherd mix with Rhodesian Ridgeback. We recently just got a 16 week old full German Shepherd puppy. They get along great, play, walk, eat and drink. However, sometimes when the younger puppy is annoying the older dog it leads to a fight.. it seems to be aggressive sometimes especially because they are both Germans and love to “talk” so we break up the fight and one dog goes with me and the other my spouse. It seems to only happen when she is annoying her 2 year old brother. Should I be worried about this behavior? Or is it just the dogs asserting dominance? Or working it out?
