I have been told that it is very hard to predict a mixed dogs final weight. I am just looking for a very loose estimate or weight range. We know he is part pitbull and part boxer. He is a little older than 6 months and weighs 53 pounds. How much will his final weight be?

Congrats on the Pit/Boxer. We have one as well (we rescue) and ours is about a year old and is right at 72 pounds and doesn't have an ounce of fat on him.
Much of this will depend on the actual breed of course and genetics. Some Pitties are just huge, some are only large. :-)
53 pounds at 6 months, he still has a good 6-9 months of growing to do so I'd expect 70 pounds at least, likely more. That's a good sized lap dog!
