We just got our 1 year old pup from the rescue and he seems to have kennel cough, unfortunately I can’t afford the medicine but I was google and some say homeopathic cough medicine might help or even singular. If you have any experience with kennel cough please how did you get it to go away
I am happy you rescued your little one from the shelter, however, with rescuing him, you do need to be able to provide for the little guy. Kennel cough is so easily treated, when caught and treated early. In all honestly, it does not cost too much. It is an exam, which I am sure you can google to find out which animal hospitals in your area offer free exams or even 1/2 off exams. Then there is the cost of 1 or 2 medications. Keep in mind the longer you wait, the more expensive it can get. Not to mention the more uncomfortable your dog will be.

Rescues usually have the dogs fully vetted and treated for any problems before adopting. Check in and ask if they are covering kennel cough. The sooner treated the better.
