How do dog sitters feel about dog health trackers?

I wanted to ask dog sitters how they feel about dog health trackers on their client's dog collars.

We recently fitted our dog with a health and GPS tracker on his collar (ours is the Whistle Go Explorer). This is like a dog equivalent of a Fit Bit. It records the amount of activity, distance traveled and calories burnt. This helps us keep on track with her weight and health. It also has the added benefit of a GPS, so that if the dog gets lost or goes outside of a "safe zone" (e.g. our house or the pet sitters' house), we can find our dog.

We told our sitter ahead of time about the health tracker via text and then again in person. We also mentioned that it's fine for them to remove it from the collar if she needed to. At neither times did she mention that it was something she was uncomfortable with.

Today we suddenly got a text from our sitter canceling the rest of our dog sitting appointments, because she felt we were micromanaging her care for our dog and that she didn't like how we weren't putting our trust in her.

Given this, I wanted to get a sense of how other sitters feel about the health trackers, given we are now stuck looking for another sitter last minute. Should we stop tracking the health outcomes of our dog so we don't worry other sitters about the location function? After reading about how other owners often have cameras in their house, the health tracker seemed much less intrusive.

I would welcome the tracker it is a added safety measure I can't see why anyone would be upset over using
