Just to ease your mind, you do show up on the first page of sitters for your area. #9 to be exact. Perhaps the person was attempting to search for you by name, which isn't possible. When all else fails, you can always send them a link, as Marina suggested.
You've probably sorted it out by now but in case someone else has the same issue: You can send them your direct profile link. You will find the link in the Dashboard section under "Earn More, Play More". If you are using the app you will find the link in the More section under SITTING and "Promote your business".
