How long before a client gets refunded for a canceled booking from sitter?

I have a emergency pop up and must cancel a booking for end of next week. I feel aweful and want to make sure my client has there money to make other plans.

As soon as you notify Rover, they will process the credit. Since all Rover bookings are paid by credit card, it doesn't really make any difference. The charge and the credit may offset each other on the same bill but that depends on the cutoff dates on their statement. As long as the credit appears before credit card payment is due, then they wouldn't have to pay the original charge.

In your case, they are going to be rebooking with someone else, so it will all work out, perhaps even for the better if the replacement sitter charges less. Always a possibility.

Actually it may take several business days for the credit to be processed. you can expect to receive the refunded amount within 1 - 3 business days from the date of the cancellation request.It's at the bottom of this article https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...
