New on Rover, what is the process of declaring income in the UK as a sitter?

Hello fellow sitters,

I am new on Rover and i want to make sure i do income declaration properly. What is the process to follow. Do i need to become self employed??? Please help me :) Thanks so much everyone!

Walt's answer is correct for the US. However, the terminology is different in the UK. It is best to consult a tax professional in your country or even the Rover staff to find out your status for reporting.

The second one has everything you need for filing. BTW, you need to look at your puppy rate for boarding. It should always be higher than for an adult animal.

As a Rover sitter you are an independent contractor and therefore self employed. Your income shows in the payment history section of your profile https://www.rover.com/account/payment... Also shown is your income by calendar year on the right side of the page
