Is there any way to block/remove people from contacting you?

I've had one person who insisted on leaving her dogs with me, last minute and without a meet & greet. She was out of town and her last sitters did no longer want to take them in. I told her no, as I had a full house, but she insisted, so eventually I just stopped responding - but her messages continued, making me feel harassed. Is there anything that I can do to remove myself from the list of available sitters to her?

If someone is continuing to message you after you've declined the stay, contact Rover support. They can look into it and potentially ban her from using the site if she's harassing other users. The best you can do on your own is to be firm and clear with her (which it sounds like you have) and inform her that if she continues to message you, you will turn the matter over to Rover's customer service. If her messages are in any way threatening, you can also involve the police, since that is a legal matter.
