How do I get the background check email re-sent?

Are the background checks requested after the profile has been approved? I'm on the step where it says my background check is outstanding and to check my email but it's not in my Inbox or my Junk and I can't see an option to resend the background check. I'm also in Canada, if that makes a difference.

Checkr typically processes background checks within two business days, but on rare occasions, the process can take up to a few weeks. More is contained in this article https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...

Hello Andrea,

I'm in the US and I don't know if the process in Canada is identical. My profile was live shortly after the background check cleared. First I received an e-mail stating that my profile had been reviewed and will go live as soon as the background check clears. Later the same day I got an email saying that my profile was now live. I didn't get an e-mail specifically about passing the background check. You can check the status of your background check by e-mailing canadasupport@checkr.com or contacting Rover directly.
