Fees for multiple dogs house-sitting?

We will be looking for house sitting care for two adult dogs. I was wondering if there are any "norms" for how sitters charge for two dogs on a house sitting? The first sitter to respond had nearly the same price for both dogs which seems a bit high for house-sitting (where the second dog really doesn't add much more effort). I am new to Rover though and just trying to get a sense for norms. Thanks!

I charge less for a second dog from the same family. The sitter that responded to you may not have a rate for additional dogs in his/her profile so you should just ask. Also, a second dog can absolutely add a lot more effort!!!

When searching for a sitter and you click on their profile also click on the additional rates and services link on the right side of the profile page. Not all sitters charge for multiple dogs, but those who do the rates will vary from sitter to sitter. Best of luck

Every sitter on Rover is an independent contractor and sets his/her own rates and rate structure. So, no, there are no "norms."
