How do I handle clients who try to under pay for their stay?

I often get requests from someone who has 3-4 pets and they try to book me for the price of only one. How should I respond?

Many owners new to Rover fail to complete their profile and add all their pets to the profile. If you receive a request that is inaccurate please direct the owner how to add their additional pets so you can adjust the booking request correctly. Best of luck

Before you even offer a meet and greet, I would tell them something along the lines of “Before we go any further, all pets in the household do need to be added to your profile. If they are not, they will not be covered by Rover’s insurance and guarantee if anything were to go wrong.”

If they don’t want to add them so that they can avoid the extra cost, you don’t want them as a client anyways. Flag the conversation on the website and Rover will reach out to them to see what’s going on.
