Why isn’t my holiday rate applied?

I got a request during the Thanksgiving holiday dates Rover has given. It’s for one dog and one puppy. So it’s showing my regular rate and a puppy rate. I had a previous request during the same time and it showed my “holiday rate”. Why isn’t this particular booking showing my holiday rate? And should I change it or is that not ok?

Same thing happened to me just now, also a dog and a puppy. The puppy rate was correct, but not the holiday rate. I'm just going to black out those days then, not worth the hastle

Sounds to me like the puppy rate circumvented the holiday rate, not sure why that happened? As an independent contractor, you can modify the booking rate to accommodate for the holiday.
