Multiple dogs for house sitting over holidays?

Hi fellow sitters... I never set up my rates for multiple dog care in someone else's home, but now that I have a request, I see it is set at 5.00 per night per extra dog. So a request for 5 dogs for 9 nights over Christmas at their home. I am not sure how to deal with that.
Five dogs, 4 of which I will be only compensated 5.00. That seems like so little to me. Plus, I can forget about having time with my own family and pets at Christmas... Or am I just being silly?

Holly,

I noticed that you have now increased your Additional Dog Rate and that's fine. However, you don't have a holiday rate and you really should, especially as you've already started to get requests for the holidays.

As for the current request, you can modify it. If it were for a small amount, I would probably just let it go and eat the loss, but this would be a big time commitment during a peak season. You can be honest and upfront with the client and say that you made a mistake inputting your rates and hope they understand. They may decide not to use you but that is all you can do.

Thank you for the response. :) I have looked around and have been unable to find where you can change a holiday rate... same with a weekend rate. Any help?

There is no ability to have a different weekend rate. Just go to the Rate section of your Profile and be sure to click on the + Additional Rates link under your existing services and you will get the ability to create a holiday rate and other things. https://www.rover.com/account/profile/rates/
