How to stop our dog from digging holes in our backyard?
Every time our dog is outside he digs holes in our backyard.

I saw this once on Lucky Dog. The trainer filled holes with the dog's own poop and the dog no longer had any interest in digging. It is described here:

I had the same problem and was actually going to suggest this until I saw Karen already did! It works!
I have used cayenne pepper sprinkled in the yard and also a liquid application of cayenne (less effective over time). Aside from sneezing attacks, it didn't harm him and worked. I had to reapply after rain for about one month, but now he doesn't try to dig.
