I have an owner wanting me to watch his dog while he does business calls at his home overnight! I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?
Speaking as a city girl, I would bring a friend with me the first time, and always make sure someone knows where I am going and when I will return. Once you get a feel for how it goes you can decide whether or not you will need backup.
I have and was very uncomfortable. He wasn't supposed to be home but ended up missing his flight with the rest of the family and didn't go on the trip. Next time I would have told him I would be going home as he was home because it was not comfortable for me AT ALL.
I haven't, but I don't see a problem with this. The owner may just want some quiet while he works.
I haven't had this happen to me yet, but that does sound strange. I would do a meet and greet to feel out how you feel about him and the home first!
