Do I have to watch the dogs at my house?

Do I have to have these dogs at my house or can I go to their home and take care of their dog or dogs? I have two very small dogs and love dogs, but I am retired and would be willing to walk and go to their home to make sure they are well taken care of.

As a Rover sitter, you decide what services you wish to offer. Many of us offer to board, and a lot of us offer house sitting, drop-ins and/or walks

Boarding and Daycare is done at your home. House sitting, drop ins, and walks are done at the clients home.

This may help clarify the types of services you can offer on Rover: https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...

In short, watching the owner's dog at the owner's home overnight is house sitting. Taking the dogs into your home overnight is called dog boarding. You can also do drop-in visits, which is you going to the owner's home for 30 minutes per visit to care for their pets, or you can do day care, which is a shorter version of dog boarding where you take the pets into your home for the day but they do not stay overnight.

Many sitters also offer unofficial services, like transporting pets to a groomer or veterinarian or daycare in the owner's home where they go to the home for the day but do not stay overnight. Many sitters also care for more than just dogs or cats.

I hope this answers your question.
