When a dog is not picked up???

I am worried that the owner of the dog I am currently sitting is not going to pick him up! Although he is wonderful and I have grown fond of him I can't keep him... The owner is already very late and won't respond to me. What should I do if he doesn't come back for his dog?

Give Rover Customer Support a call and they will help you through this situation, if in fact, the owner has abandoned his dog. You didn't say how late the owner is, but there can be all sorts of valid reasons for no response. Rover can arrange for foster care and deal with the legal issues. Don't worry. You don't have to face this problem alone.
