Where should I put my puppies crate?

We have a 10-week old Frenchie that we are attempting to crate train. Where in my home should I put my puppies crate? We work through the day but we are able to alternate returning home during the day to let him out for potty breaks. Wondering if we should keep the crate in the great room area, laundry room, bedroom, etc?? At night he cries all night long in it and typically wont stop until someone takes him out.

Many folks will place the crate in their bedroom during the night and another location during the day. The bedroom allows the pup to hear you breathing and can easily smell you, for them, this is calming. Best of luck Frenchies are awesome

Part of that is preference; where do you want it? Where can it be that allows for some normalcy for the dog while you're away (smells, sounds, etc.)? Where can it be that it will bother you the least during the crying phase of crate training? On the note of the latter, can it be moved from morning to night, etc.? Just take your needs and the dog's needs into consideration and do what's best for you all, together. :-) Best of luck!
