Do you search results not return what you specified?

I have the most difficult time finding dog sitters, the search results provide sitters based on location only. Why are we asked to provide parameters, if the results will just show me 3 pages of sitters that do not fall under those parameters? I have specified a date range and dog boarding only. I have three pages of sitters, that are already booked or will only house sit.

This makes this extremely difficult to continue to use this service.

Usually the complaint is the other way around because Rover's search parameters pay no attention to location/proximity. They should, however, only give you sitters available on the dates specified and for the type of service. I've noticed a "break" in the search results and a heading that will state something along the lines of "have you considered house sitting" after the boarding ones.

Anyway, it sounds like you should be calling Rover's Customer Support to tell them about the problems you having. Their number is [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team].
