I have a potential client that has not officially booked a request because she wants to do the meet and greet first to make sure it is a good fit. I don't believe I am provided her address though until the booking is confirmed. Is that correct? Can a booking be cancelled after it has been confirmed?
If you are going to do a M&G, the client will provide you with the address so you can come over. Until you officially accept, the booking is not finalized. Let's say, you don't want the job after you do the M&G, you wouldn't click "confirm booking." It won't go through. No harm; no foul.
Cancelling after the booking is confirmed can be done but will count against you with Rover. But you don't need to confirm in order to get the address. Just ask for it from the client, especially if they want you to come offer to interview for the job.
Always schedule and do the Meet & Greet. When you and the client schedule a date & time, you need to get the address. If the client is slow to reply and send you the address, send the client a message that their dates aren't reserved until booked and if someone else books with you, they will loose their dates with you. Just keep in mind that the client may be meeting with other hosts also. Don't let them waste your time. After sending the message, archive it as owner didn't respond. If someone else does want to book you and all is good, book them. Don't worry about someone procrastinating.
