Can I "tag team" with a local sitter for emergencies? [closed]

This weekend I had an emergency happen (ended up having to take my husband to the hospital), causing me to have to cancel/reschedule a couple visits. I was not able to send anyone in my place to help out, but I communicated with the clients as much as I could. I also was on the phone with the Rover emergency hotline the whole day regarding the situation.

Is there a way I could partner up with other sitters in my area so that if we have emergencies we can contact each other to help each other out in similar situations? The only way I know to communicate with other sitters is to request a booking, but I'm afraid if I do that I'll mess up their booking score.

Many sitters do work together if they are booked or an emergency comes up. You still need to check with the customer as they may have a backup sitter/family member and rover. I recommend you join a couple rover "closed to the public" facebook groups:
Rover Sitter To Sitter: https://www.facebook.com/groups/96872... and
Rover.com Pet Sitters: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Rover...

You will need to send an Admin. your request and rover profile to be approved to join.
So sorry to hear and hope your husband gets well soon.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much, Kathleen!

I have built a network with other Rover sitters for the same reason, shit happens, and you need others to step up and help. Good luck
