Since it is doubtful you'd have a whole truffle (an incredibly expensive fungi), I am assuming the truffle is of the chocolate variety. Chocolate is toxic, but it really depends on the weight of your dog. You should contact your vet, who may refer you to the Animal Poison Control hotline, which isn't free. As you can read below, chocolate poisoning is serious, especially if it is dark chocolate. Call your vet!
