Are these good responses to sitting inquiries?

Hi! I have a cookie cutter prompt when responding to potential clients I was wonder if this is enough or if it could use some tweaking. Also I have had a few that would pick up late ( I work from home during the night) and not provide essentials for their dog. So this is a fee chart I came up with. Am I being lenient?

[Dog Boarding] HI! Thanks for reaching out. Yes, I am most definitely available to watch (PET NAME) on that date. The earliest you are able to drop off is 7am and the latest pickup is 930pm. Please let me know if your dog has any ailments that I need to worry about as well as any special requirements! Any questions feel free to ask!

[Dog Daycare] Hi! Thank you for reaching out. I am available for the date you requested. The earliest drop off is 7am and the latest pickup is 730pm.

Fees - Boarding Late pickup - next day boarding fee [ Pick up next day ] ($22) - Daycare late pickup - $10 (pick up next day) - Dog washing - $10 per wash (Free For April) - Lack of food - $5 per meal - No Harness and Leash - $30

I'd suggest that you discuss all the fees during the meet & greet and afterwards using Rover messages. Some sitters also add fees to their profile (as well as promotions such as Free Dog Wash for all April bookings!), so a potential client can see before contacting. It's fine to ask about ailments and preferences, which you could get more specific about, though you'd likely want to ask more detailed questions during the meet&greet. To make it a little easier to read, I'd cut "you are able to" (instead the "The earliest drop off is...") I'd absolutely require the dog owners to provide harness&leash that fits their dog and provide the food their dog is currently eating to prevent issues. Then, those last two items don't need to be mentioned or it could be simply Please note your dog must come with collar, ID tags, harness, leash, and food.

For the L.A. area, all of your rates look extremely Low (including boarding stay for $22 and daycare for $15 as well as the extended fees for late pick-up), especially since you're only caring for a couple dogs at a time. Instead of listing next day pick-up as a separate fee, you could just let them know before booking that if they can't pick up by 7:30/9:30 depending on service, an additional day fee will be added to allow them to pick up the next day.

I agree, my rates are low but only becuase I am new to Rover as a sitter. IDK why it says Los Angeles becuase I am in Hawthorne. Either way the price is still low yet kinda competitive in a 10 mile radius. Thanks for the suggestions for my CAN responses I also added the fees to my profile pictures

I also have canned responses for the first interaction that I tweak as necessary. I reiterate the 'deal breakers' that I list in my profile that owners sometimes don't take the time to read so we don't all waste our time with a meet and greet or further back and forth.

Hi OWNER, DOG sounds like a sweetheart! I'd love to discuss watching DOG for the dates you listed. How does DOG do when left alone? As my profile states, I do work full time, so dogs are left alone for 4 hours at a time Mon-Fri (approximately 8am - 12pm, and again 1pm - 5pm). DOG would be left in the house, either with access to the living room or if you prefer, crated. I always come home for a long lunch to let dogs out, play and feed them if necessary. If that sounds good to you, let me know when you're available for a meet and greet! I'm available most weekdays after 6 pm or usually anytime weekends. Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks,

I also agree with Deb about your fees - list them in your profile and I'd repeat them during the initial discussion about drop off and pick up times as a reminder that there are fees if they're late!
