coupon after booking?

What if a new-to-Rover client booked me but I forgot to give her the coupon code before she booked me? Can it still be applied somehow

Have your client call Rover Support @ [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] and the team will apply your code to the booking. The code only works once so don't cancel the booking as someone suggested

Hi Gen! Good question. Beware the Rover terms of service on this matter that state "Don’t publish your Promo Code or Custom URL anywhere within the Rover network (including on your profile, in Q&A forums, or in direct messages); the purpose of this program is to bring new users to the Rover platform." (See https://www.rover.com/tos/promotions/) Promo codes are meant to lure in new clients, not give people a perk after they've already found you. :(

If your client had the coupon code but forgot to apply it, you can click on the stay under "Upcoming Stays" in your messages and select "Modify or cancel" on the left. Send a message stating that your client forgot to apply your promo code and ask if it can still be applied for them. I'm not sure what they'll say. The only other option would be to ask your client to cancel and rebook the stay, but that may void your promo code for them because they might not be considered "new" to Rover since they already booked a stay. Again, I'm not entirely sure. I'd start by messaging Rover. I hope there was something helpful in here. Good luck!
