Why charge mutliple booking fees on a single reservation?

Why if I'm booking a single stay that spans multiple days, do I get charged the booking/service fee for each day? I'm booking just one reservation so it seems like it should be just the single charge.

The service fee (5%-7%) is applied to the entire booking. It cannot exceed $25.00 per booking.

Hi Julie Ann - I'm not entirely sure I understand your question. Are you referring to the sitter's service rates or Rover's service fees? Actually either way, you should just see a "total" somewhere when you go to pay. If you're booking a Rover sitter for an overnight trip (dog sitting or dog boarding), you'll be charged the sitter's fee for that service per night. Overnight services are charged much like hotels - you get charged for each night your dog is in a sitter's care. Rover adds on a service fee to the sitter's service rate to cover the cost of staffing customer support, operating the website, etc. I think the service fee is still deducted off the total. If the total fee is wrong or if you can't figure out what it is, you'll probably want to just contact Rover to see if there's a glitch. Try viewing it on a different device or in a different browser.
