I recently applied for a couple of programs through PG&E that offer help to low income residents. They will not accept my payment history from Rover or my Paypal account showing Rover deposits. Paypal does not have a 1099 for me because I don't fit their criteria for it. How am I supposed to prove my income so I can start getting my discounts again?
Businesses that use IC's like Rover should provide 1099's to everyone, but yet again Rover has failed the sitter community. You may consider calling support but I doubt they will or can help provide you the information you require for your programs.
Businesses legally have until January 31st to mail out 1099s for 2017. Has Rover stated outright they won't be providing 1099's?
Yes, they say if you get your money through PayPal that i would get my 1099 from them. They don't give you one unless you make more than $20,000.

Do you transfer your money from Paypal to your bank? I've heard some people show their bank statement with the deposits listed. If you've been with Rover for over a year and filed taxes last year reporting your Rover income, show them the tax return.
