Hi, i'm new at this!

I'm new at this and I just got a first client on Rover. I've never done a meet and greet before but we scheduled for it to be at his home because that's where I will be taking care of his dogs. Would it be inappropriate to bring my mom along with me? I just don't want to come off as irresponsible but i'd personally feel safer since I have never done this before! I just want to be as safe as I can be, are there any other precautions that I should take?

I just booked my first client yesterday, and my parents did take me to their house! My mom came in with me, just to introduce herself and to mention that it was my first time doing something like this, especially since I'm going to be staying overnight at their house, and my client had no problems whatsoever! But yes, definitely mention it to your client just so that they're not surprised.

I personally don't see a problem with you bringing your mother with you. Safety is always important. I would let the client know ahead of time just so they will be aware. Congratulations on your first client!
