Why does my dog lick the floors?

The first thing I'd check out is if there's a scent(food, dog-based, etc) in those spots that hasn't been sufficiently cleaned. Otherwise, it maybe a compulsive behavior, which is harder to identify and it may be a better option to just re-direct the dog's attention to something you want it to enjoy, such as a toy.
