What do I do if my dog has a cough?
My dog has been couching for the past couple of days, should I take him to the vet?

If the dog has been more than just occasionally coughing (such as due to dust&pollen) for the past couple days, then yes, you should call your vet to set up an appointment. He could have a virus, canine flu, or kennel cough. Less common causes of coughing include: infection, heartworm, distemper, heart disease, lung problems.
