The surrounding context provides more information whether it could be excitement, pain, nausea, old age, or something else . Note if there are other symptoms, such as diarrhea, vomiting, or limping. There's the: * happy body shake - common after a bath or in play * stress anxiety shake * serious illness like Generalized Tremor Syndrome * Distemper virus may also have eye/nose discharge, fever, coughing * nausea or toxic poisoning - may also be vomiting, listless, weakness, disoriented, depressed, hiding, yawning, lip smacking, salivating/swallowing, drooling * Addison disease * Kidney disease * or advanced age
